Merle Allan Mcgee

Merle Allan McGee, 85, Columbus, formerly of Pataskala, died June 10, 2024. He was born June 1, 1939, in Zanesville, the son of the late Merle Edmund And Daisey (Ingles) McGee. He served honorably in the US Navy and retired after many years at Western-Electric Lucent Technologies as an accountant. He enjoyed watching the OSU buckeyes, gardening and woodworking. He is survived by his son John (Tina) McGee, his daughter Amy Bailey, his three stepchildren, grandchildren Matthew, Jessica, Josh, Lindsay, Christian and Morgan; his 5 step- grandchildren and 1 step great and great great grandchild. He also has 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Honoring Merle’s wishes, there will be private family services followed by burial in the Pataskala Cemetery. The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, is honored to care for Merle and his family.
