Michael S. Morrison

Michael S. Morrison, age 55, of Newark, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at OSU Hospital East. He was born May 9, 1968 in Newark, Ohio to the late Paul Morrison and the late Judith (Smith) Morrison Crist.

Mike was a driver with LICCO. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Raiders, drag racing, and wrestling. He also enjoyed watching basketball, especially Indiana and the Texas Spurs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy E. (Hartman) Morrison; sisters, Kathy (Tom) Pennybaker, Linda Francis, and Christina (Keith) Hartshorne; brothers, Thomas Wiley and Earl (Michelle) Wiley, Jr.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, LeAnna and Phil Buena; best friend of over 40 years, Shawn Tisdale; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and uncles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Morrison.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering on Saturday, August 19, at 2 p.m. at 11094 Butler Road NE in Newark.
