A memorial service, celebrating the life of Michael P Smith, 43, formerly of Columbus, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Kirkersville home of The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service. Inurnment will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery.Michael died peacefully, Friday, November 30, 2012, following an extended illness. He was born in Columbus on May 2, 1969. He enjoyed Basketball, Fishing and making arts & crafts. He was an avid OSU Buckeye Fan.He is survived by his father, Jerry Smith of Delaware, along with his daughter Jessica Mitchell and sons Zachary, Tyler and Jared Dennis; and his sisters Christina (Kenneth) Metzler, Diana and Sharon Smith; nieces Phyllis Parker & Alicia Smith.He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Smith, in January, 2012.HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for the Smith family.
