Michael Rudolph Stemple

Michael Rudolph Stemple, 63 of Utica, passed away on January 5, 2023 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born in Tampa, Florida on October 7, 1959 to the late John W. and Anne Marie (Zschalig) Stemple. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Mike, along with his wife Robin, were the owners and operators of J & G Fireworks in Utica and he was a proud member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed playing Dungeons & Dragons, shooting guns, playing his guitar, shooting fireworks, listening to music, smoking cigars at the Humidor with his friends, and spending time with his loving family and friends. Mike will be missed by everyone that knew him. Survivors include his loving wife on 29 years, Robin C. (Valentine) Stemple, whom he married December 26, 1993; daughter, Natalie (Brian) Knight; grandchildren, Alyssa (Chase) Hurst, Jessica Hurst and Anthony Knight; sisters, Rosemarie Piatt, Margaret Bean and Karla (Mark) Manter; mother-in-law, Juanita Bentley; special friends, Doug Pricer and Brian Poling; and many other friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Stemple. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mike to the Licking County Humane Society. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date, where military honors will be observed. In his generous nature, Mike gave the gift of life and hope to others by being an organ and tissue donor through Lifeline of Ohio.
