Michael Ward

Michael Irvin Ward, age 55, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Licking Memorial Hospital.Michael was born May 20, 1959 in Newark, Ohio to the late Irvin Ward and Bonita (Anderson) Moore Ward. He enjoyed music and athletics and was active in basketball, football and track during high school.Surviving are three sisters, Adrianne Cherry of Newark, Carol White of Boston, MA and Sandra Ward of Columbus; four brothers, Victor (Wilma) Moore of Zanesville, Rodney Moore of Newark, Rodrick (Debbie) Moore of Columbus and Phillip (Tina) Ward of Nashport; many nieces, nephews and cousins.Inurnment will take place at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Ward family.
