Michael William Monett

A memorial service honoring the life of Michael William Monett, age 39, of Newark, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Rusty Foley officiating. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Michael was born July 25, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home. A 1994 graduate of Newark High School, Michael was employed with the Anomatic Corp. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Michigan Wolverines.He is survived by his mother, Ellen Marie (Stone) Monett of Newark; father, Michael Joseph Monett of Chillicothe; two daughters, Hailey and Hope Monett, a son Hayden Monett and their mother, Dewlyn Hughes, all of Newark; maternal grandparents, William and Helen Stone of Columbus; paternal grandmother, Marie Monett of Upper Arlington; aunts and uncles, Sharon Blankenship of Newark, Harold Stone, Suzanne Hoffman and Joe Monett, all of Columbus and Steve Monett of Upper Arlington; and many cousins.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Michael and his family.
