Mildred F. Gieseck

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mildred F. Gieseck, age 96, of Granville, will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Merold officiating. Burial will be held at Kirkersville Cemetery.Mildred was born on October 7, 1918, in Thurston, Ohio to the late Henry Elmer and Ethel Ruth (Hodge) Hite. She passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014, at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala.Mildred was a member of the Outville Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. She was member of the Farm Bureau and worked 31 years at the Licking County Election Board.She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bryan of Indiana; grandchildren James Kirkpatrick and Troy (Rita) Kirkpatrick; brother, Raymond (Dorothy) Hite; 2 nieces and a nephew.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1972; and sisters, Mary Ellen Wardrip and Mabel Irene Hite.The family will welcome friends at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street, Kirkersville, Ohio, on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mildred to the Outville Presbyterian Church.
