Mildred "Milly" Lundell

Mildred Milly M. Lundell, 78, of Harbor Hills, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2013 following a brief illness. She was born on October 1, 1934 in Onekama, Michigan to the late Howard and Doris (Radtke) Anderson. Milly was a very active member of Grace Lutheran Church, Thornville. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing bridge, and volunteering at both Christs Table in Zanesville and the Midland Theatre in Newark.She is survived by her loving family: Sons: Michael and Erik Lundell; foreign exchange student, Vicente Correa and his family of Paraguay; two sisters: Charlene Roossien and Jane (Dan) Horton; a brother, Peter (Rose) Anderson; a brother-in-law, Irving Lundell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert G. Lundell on March 24, 2012.A funeral service, celebrating Millys life, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church, Thornville with Pastors Beth Bateson and David Zandt officiating.Friends may call at the Church, 65 East Columbus Street, Thornville, Ohio 43076, on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home, 480 Water Street, Manistee, Michigan 49660.In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Millys name be made to: Lutheran World Relief, 700 Light Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21230 OR Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio, 500 W.
