Mildred Louise Ray

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Mildred Louise Ray, 85, of Pataskala, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street in Kirkersville.

Mildred was born September 26, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio. She passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 at her residence. The daughter of the late Clyde Homer and Ora (Slane) Wolf. She retired after a career with Ross/Abbott Labs in Columbus.

Mildred was a very creative person; she loved to sew and design custom Halloween costumes for her grandsons. She also enjoyed gardening, bowling, and scrap booking.

She is survived by her loving family: her husband, Jack Ray Jr.. whom she married on January 17, 1970, her son Lee (Serina) Ray, son-in-law Tom Woolard, grandson Kyle (Darbi) Ray, granddaughter-in-law Angela Ray (Mrs. Kris) and great grandchildren Natalie, Cooper, Deunan Ray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Evelyn Woolard, her grandson Kristopher Ray, her great granddaughter Elliott Ray, her brother Homer and Howard Wolf and her sisters Lucille Triplett and Phyllis Hughes.
