Miriam L. Harper

A graveside service, for Miriam L. Harper, 89, of Millersport, will be held on Sunday, October 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville Cemetery.Miriam died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, following a brief illness. She was born on May 10, 1923 in Westerville, OH to the late Leo E. and Helen (Waterfield) Little.She is retired from 70-37 Corporation. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Buck ) West of Zanesville; and Grandson, Scott Phillips of Zanesville. She also has 3 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great grand children and 2 step-great-great grand children.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Harper (5/13/1994); her brother, Raymond (8/28/1939); and her sisters Ginnie Clark (9/9/2001) and Margaret Wiggins (7/5/2005).There will be no calling hours per Miriams request; and in lieu of flowers either have a bank party or make a donation to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.The Kirkersville home of the Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Harper family.
