Misty Lynn (Jones) Thompson

Misty Lynn (Jones) Thompson, age 48, of Kirkersville, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Columbus following an extended illness. She was born October 10, 1972 to the late William Jones and the late Hersaline (Noble) Jones Wright. Misty was a 1990 graduate of Watkins High School and had worked at the Kirkersville Tavern for many years. She enjoyed crafting and taking care of others, especially her family.

She is survived by her children, Destini Kidwell-Martz, Cody Kidwell, Rachale Kidwell and Kierra Lawson, along with her step-sons, Shane Heirling and Chance Thompson; grandchildren, William Kidwell, Ava Gregg and Everleigh Kidwell; and brothers, William “Ernie” and Doug Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Brett “Grady” Thompson, on July 20, 2021.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 27, at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.
