Mona "Lisa" Mcdonough

Mona Lisa McDonough of Thornville, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 5, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Amos Christian and Barbara Shreves, who survives. Lisa was an avid Buckeyes fan as well as a NASCAR enthusiast. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren on Mawmaw Mondays where she would take them to special places for different activities and snacks.Lisa is survived by her loving family: children, Mindi (Corey Campbell) Faulkner; Matthew (Tosha) McKinster; and Amy (Shane Wright) Copeland; five grandchildren: Zackery, Breanna, Tyler, Hannah, and Emalin; her mother, Barbara (Paul) Hiles; her brother, Amos (Susanna) Christian; several nieces and nephews; and The Girls, Sassy and BristolFriends may call at the Kirkersville Home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main St. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services.A funeral service, celebrating Lisas life, will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Jerry Wiles officiating.The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Gray and the staff of Licking Memorial Hospital for the genuine care and attention they provided to Lisa.Online condolences may be sent to www.hoskinsonfuneral .comHoskinsonFuneral and Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for the family of Lisa.
