"Kay" Mynetta Kay Evans

A graveside service celebrating the life of Mynetta Kay Evans, age 87, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 275 North Cedar Street in Newark with Clifford Mason officiating.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on Friday at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street in Newark. We will then go in procession to the cemetery.

Kay was born March 4, 1935 in Newark, Ohio to the late Leroy Abraham and Agalia Mae (Payne) Robinson. She passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Newark Care and Rehab.

Kay was a homemaker and enjoyed mushroom hunting.

She is survived by a sister, Henrietta Wilkins of Newark; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Al Evans; a brother, Donald Leroy Robinson; and two sisters, Mary O’Brien and June McKee.
