Nancy Doris Bailey

A funeral service celebrating the life of Nancy Doris Bailey, age 87, of Hebron, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Jim Hall officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkerville.

Nancy was born January 26, 1934 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Joseph W. and Russell V. (Puckett) Eaton. She passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).

Nancy was a member for over 50 years of the Kirkersville United Methodist Church where she played the piano for many years. She enjoyed cooking and reading.

She is survived by three sons, Mack D. Bailey of Logan, Russell W. Bailey of Hebron and Jeff L. (Michelle) Bailey of Hilliard; a daughter, Cathy L. (Chris) Craft of Millersport; six grandchildren Shaun Bailey, Erin Taylor, Sarah Bailey, Shea Canaday, James and Valarie Greenwalt; great grandchildren Emily Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Owen and Averi Bailey; brothers, Roger, Robert, Larry, Charles, Bill F., Dan and Richard Eaton; brother-in-law, Lawrence Bailey; sister-in-law, Barbara Beggs; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Henry Bailey, who died May 25, 2018.
