Nancy M. Colby

Nancy M. Colby, 81, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 25, 2019. She was born on December 23, 1937 in Laurenburg, North Carolina to the late Sue Laura Smith McLean and Ernest McLean, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lowell Colby and siblings, Ernest McLean, Jr., Joe McLean, Pete McLean and Lona May McLean.  She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Lori) Colby, David Colby and Steven (Anita) Colby; grandchildren, Benjamin (Tabatha) Colby, Brandon Colby, Danielle (Hosey) Colby, Cory (Kiley) Colby, Chase Colby, Jaycee Colby, Alayna Colby, Karoline Colby, David Colby, Justin Colby, Joseph Colby, Phillip Colby and Matthew Colby; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Alexis, Ashlynn, Taylor, Hosey, Charlotte, Harry and Sophie and sister, Margret Sue “Susie” Wilkes.  Services will be Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 1 pm at Criss-Wagner Hoskins Funeral Service, Newark, Ohio.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Newark, Ohio.
