Nancy Eleanor Jones

A funeral service celebrating the life of Nancy Eleanor (Wince) Jones, age 84, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Rusty Foley officiating. Burial will take place in Wilson Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, August 15, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Nancy was born February 22, 1932 in Granville, Ohio to the late Harold J. Wince and Lillian (Woolard) Wince Westbrook. She passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital.Nancy retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas in 1995 and had also worked at Saks Market for several years. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed walking and loved her dogs and cats. She was a member of the Daughter Elks.She is survived by two sons, Robert Coleman and Richard Coleman of Newark; several grandchildren; nephew, Stacy Wince of Kansas City; step-brother, Richard (Joanne) Westbrook of Newark; first cousins, James R. (Nancy) Woolard, Sandra Woolard, Linda Woolard, Mary Lou Fetter, Jacquelyn (James) Gerber and Robert Hartman; and many second and third generation cousins.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jones, in 1999; brother, Luther Wince; step-father, John Westbrook; and grandparents, Luther Allen and Nellie (Gillispie) Woolard.Memorial contributions may be made to the Licking County Humane Society.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Nancy and her family.
