Nancy Gayle Volk

A Funeral Mass for Nancy Gayle Volk (nee Kreider), age, 75, of Granville, will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Granville with Monsignor Paul Enke as officiant. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, 785 Newark Granville Road, Granville, 30 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.Nancy was born in Newark, Ohio on July 10, 1941 to the late Kenneth and Josephine (Stare) Kreider. She passed away at Price Road Nursing and Rehab Center in Newark on November 7, 2016.Nancy graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School. She attended The Ohio State University and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was a cat fancier and owned many purebred Persian cats over the years.Survivors include her son, John Volk of Seattle, Washington; two grandchildren, Ian and Geffrey; brothers, Thomas (Pamela) Kreider of Nashport, Ohio and Gary (Barbara) Kreider of Cincinnati and seven nieces and nephews.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nancy to St. Francis de Sales School, 38 Granville Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Nancy and her family.
