A graveside service celebrating the life of Nancy M. Lundfelt, age 93, of Pickerington, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, at Zanesville Memorial Park.
Nancy was born February 26, 1928 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late William and Lettice Mae "Lettie" (Norris) Kaiser. She passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Abbington of Pickerington.
Nancy was a homemaker and was also employed with several area factories over the years including Hub Plastics, Western Electric, and later with Meijers and Kroger Bakery. During the war she was employed with a munitions plant in Zanesville where she was a “Rosie the Riveter”. Nancy was active in the Reynoldsburg, Newark and Columbus Senior Centers. She enjoyed playing Bingo, doing ceramics, and dancing, especially clogging and line dancing.
She is survived by two sons, Donald (Brenda) Lundfelt of Pickerington and Robert Lundfelt of Granville; daughter, Robin (Jim) Long of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Andrew and Joshua Lundfelt, Jamie Long, Ashley Grady, Baileigh (Nick) Molnar and Bethany Lovelace; two sisters, Barbara Gee and JoAnn Kaiser; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Lundfelt in 2010; daughter-in-law, Linda Lundfelt; sisters, Clarabelle Sue Mumaw, Margaret Stoneking, Evelyn Jean Whittington and Kathryn "Kate" Roberts; and two brothers, William D. Kaiser and Joseph J. Kaiser.
