A homecoming celebration of the life of Natalie Marie Robertson, 30, of Stony Ridge, Ohio, will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Kevin Hull officiating. Burial will be held in Welsh Hills Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, two hours prior to the funeral service on Friday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Natalie was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 3, 1994 to Richard L. and Elaine M. (Ashbrook) Robertson. She passed away at Bay Park Hospital in Oregon, Ohio on October 23, 2024. Natalie was a medical coder with United Healthcare Group. She was a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders. She enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking, history, genealogy, painting, drawing, going to music concerts, watching professional ice skating, traveling by train and visiting museums, and online video gaming. Most important was the time she spent with her loving family and friends, especially her niece, Madeline, and nephew, William and her cat, Max. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Danielle (Noah) Cookson and Megan (Kodjo Somana) Robertson; niece, Madeline Cookson; nephew, William Cookson; aunts, Diane (Scott) McKnight and Jennifer (Sam) Matchett; uncle, Rodger (Sandra) Robertson; cousins, Amy (Tim) Suba, Laura (Patrick) Brubaker, Lindsay (Brandon) Meininger, Samantha (Logan) Engle, Caitlin (Kyler Barringer) Tarr, Jessica (Garret) Huffman, James Matchett, Paul Matchett and Sam Matchett; and many other family members from Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Ohio. She also is survived by her soulmate, Chris Bell, her best friend, Macey Loureiro, and honorary sister Jessica Maciejewski-Jones. Natalie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joey Ashbrook and Robert Ashbrook; and paternal grandparents, Arch and Helen Robertson. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Natalie to the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio; Humane Society of Stark County; The Trevor Project; or to the charity of your choice.
