Ned Davis

Ned E. Davis, 72, of Thornville, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Hospice Unit, Newark. He was born on January 2, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ralph and Marie Davis. Ned was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Am Vets Post 51, Moose Lodge 2434 and York Lodge 0563, Worthington. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra S. (LoBalbo) Davis, children Dayna (Mike) Patrick and Colleen Firman, grandchildren Nick (Shellie) Patrick, Jeff Patrick, Amanda (Mitchell) Miller, Alex (Hawa) Daniels and Kara Daniels, six great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, Tom Schumacher, Brian (Debbie) Wilson and Lanny Gray. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother John Davis. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 4:00 8:00 p.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street. Masonic services will be conducted by the Thornville Masonic Lodge 521 at 7:45 p.m.Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Avenue, Columbus on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 am following a brief graveside service.
