A graveside service celebrating the life of Nellie Anne Bibler, age 72, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, at Cedar Hill Cemetery where Nellie will be laid to rest with her parents. Nellie was born March 25, 1948 in Newark, Ohio to the late James S. and Margaret E. (Price) Bibler. She passed away on Friday, January 8, 2020.
Nellie graduated from the E.S. Weiant Starlight School in 1969. She retired from the LICCO Sheltered Workshop in 2010 after many years of service participating in office work enclaves and performing various piece work jobs from community contracts coordinated through LICCO, Inc. She really enjoyed her work and was also known for her beautiful embroidery and cross stitch projects which were taught during her Girl Scout years.
Nellie was a member of the Beulah Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed the hymn “No Never Alone” which she enthusiastically would request to be sung by the congregation. After the passing of her beloved mother, Nellie resided in Johnstown with the Nobilucci Family and Kasson Corners congregate living community for 30 years. During her illness she moved to the Flint Ridge Care Center in Newark and passed at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio) after a battle with the Covid Virus.
