Nola Miles Rogers was born February 25, 1938 in Mt. Vernon to the late Frederick Miles and Lola G. (Wright) Miles. She passed away peacefully at her home on February 4, 2018, while surrounded by family. Prior to retirement, Nola was owner and operator of Nolas Hair Designs. She also taught at the 3B School of Beauty. Nola was a member of the Business Professional Womens Club; American Legion; Granville Chapter of DAR; past president of the Licking County Genealogical Society; founding member and past board member of the Licking Valley Heritage Society; Licking County Historical Alliance; past president of the Licking County Womens Democratic Club; and Licking County Historical Society. She enjoyed camping, sewing, cooking, crafting, genealogy, history and her family. She leaves behind daughters, Raynola St. Clair of Nashport and Romona (Jim) Mason of Newark; sons, Raymond Davis of Wyoming and Roderick (Emily) Davis of Florida; grandchildren, Jessica Finck, Christina St. Clair, Tosha Davis, Lisarae (Robert) Trujillo, Travis St. Clair, Matthew Davis, Tyler Davis, McKenzie Davis, Baily Davis; great grandchildren, Breahna Rhinehart, Jaylyn Burchard, Audrie Link, Olivia Link, Gabriel Trujillo, Jordan Trujillo; great great granddaughter, Nevaeh McElfresh; brothers, Thomas Miles of Newark and Colonel James G. (Terry) Miles of Texas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Rogers; sister, Sandra Ann Mink; and son-in-law, Lester St. Clair. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nola to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Dr. SW, Heath, Ohio 43056. Private services will be held for the family.
