Nolan Gant

Nolan N. Gant, 68, of Roseville, formerly of Hebron, died Sunday May 10, 2015, at his home following an extended illness. He was born October 28, 1946, in West Virginia, the son of the late Gerald and Rosa (Board) Gant. He was a 1965 graduate of Lakewood H.S., served honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He worked for Centurylink in Hebron, and also Madison Township in Perry County. He enjoyed farming, making hay and having dinner at the Moose in Zanesville.He is survived by his wife Carla (Cisler) whom he married on October 17, 1992; his children Cassidy Kirk of Johnstown, Danny Gant of Fultonham, Dustin (Lori) Price and Shannon (Heather) Price both of Newark; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Roland, Gary (Mary), David (Lola), Tim (Dianne), Gerald Jr. (Judy), Shirley Erikson, Sharon Gant, Margaret Gant, Mary (Charlie) Campbell, and Susie (Dennis) Brigman, along with sister-in-law Debra.In addition to his parents, his brother Paul Punky Gant died on January 13, 2010.Honoring Nolans wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A celebration of life will be held at his home at a later date.
