A Home Going Service, celebrating the life of Nolan Womack, Jr., 80, of Heath, Ohio, will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 383 Washington Street, Newark, with Rev. Dr. Michael A. Noble officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service on Friday, at church, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Nolan was born in Greenville, Alabama on April 3, 1938 to the late Nolan Sr. and Bessie (Crenshaw) Womack. He passed away on September 22, 2018 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. Nolan served his country in the United States Army. He was a professional over the road truck driver starting his career at B & L Motor Freight and prior to retirement, for D. E. Johnson for 46 years. After retirement, he worked for Hanby Farms. Over the years, he received numerous safe-driving awards without a chargeable accident. He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to country music, gardening, watching football, dancing, motorcycling, was a car enthusiast, and loved keeping his car clean. Most important was the time he spent with his loving wife and family. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Loretta (Farmer) Womack, whom he married November 14, 1965; daughters, Crystal Satterfield, Kelly Womack, Lavetta Womack and Nolita Womack; grandsons, Dujaun, James, Tervon and Trey; sisters, Rose Marie Coleman, Ludie Young and Gwendolyn Walls; seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Summerville.
