Norma Jean Blakely

A visitation celebrating the life of Norma Jean Blakely, 75, of Etna, will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville. Norma was born in Ohio on December 4, 1948, and passed away at Mt. Carmel East on February 26, 2024. Norma was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed crafting, bird watching, collecting snowmen and playing solitaire. Survivors include her children, Pamela “Mickie” (Scott Snyder) Roser and Charles (Shalyn) Blakely; sister, Kay Dalton; grandchildren, Tyler Blakely, Matthew Ferguson-Alkire and Saphira Ferguson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Blakely; sisters, Karen (Steve) Geyer and Sonya Gilbert; and a brother, Larry Griffith.
