Norma Irene Canterbury

Norma Irene Canterbury, age 65, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Heath Nursing Care Center. Norma was born December 17, 1950 in Harlem County, Kentucky.Norma was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing, going out and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by three children, Jennie Canterbury of Newark, Lawrence Canterbury of Wheeling, West Virginia and Melissa Gavinsmith of Marysville; many grandchildren; two brothers, Freddy Sammons and Leslie Sammons, both of Arkansas; and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Ruby (Sammons) and Hershel Douglas.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Norma and her family.
