A funeral service, celebrating the life of Norma Jean Cotterman, 81, of Hebron, will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, with burial to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates in Reynoldsburg.Jean died Wednesday morning, March 21, 2012 in Columbus, She was born July 14, 1930, in Beaver, W.V., the daughter of the late Verdie Robert and Sada Frances (OHara) Wills.She was a graduate of the X-ray technican program at Cincinnati General Hospital, and worked at Grant Hospital in Columbus, where she met her future husband, Clarence Devon Cotterman, who preceded her in death in 1987.She enjoyed spending time in Florida, painting, traveling and spending time with her family. While in Florida, she volunteered as a guardian for the Sea Turtle nesting program. She was a former member of the Harbor Hills Country Club.She is survived by her loving family: Her sons Bob (Paula) Cotterman and Devon (Becky) Cotterman of Columbus, daughter Jeanne Roelle (Gary Bales) of Hebron; her 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with her sisters Darrie Spangler of Pinch, W.V. and Sue Pomykata of St. Albans, W.V., brother-in-law Kenny (Nancy) Cotterman of Sandusky and many nieces and nephews.Jeans family will receive friends on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.at the funeral home, 285 E Main St in Kirkersville, where an on-line video tribute and guest book are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.HOSKINSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, Kirkersville, are honored to care for the Cotterman family.
