Norma Jean West

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Norma Jean West, age 80, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Marne United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor David Warner and Ed Fugate officiating. Friends may call at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service Monday, October 31, 2016 from 5 till 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at church on Tuesday.Norma was born on June 4, 1936 at Taylorsville to the late Lawrence and Opal (Smith) Pennell. She was a member of Marne United Methodist Church, Brownsville Chapter of The Eastern Star. Norma retired form Super Duper as a cashier. She also worked at the Old Crow Craft and volunteer at the Church Food Pantry.She is survived by a daughter, Pam (Walter) Carpenter of Etna; sons, Freddie (Dawn) West of Circleville and Robert (Debbie) West of Newark. 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio for their services.She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred G.
