Norma W. Severt

A memorial service celebrating the life of Norma W. Severt, age 79, of Heath, will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Ben Orr and Chaplain (Maj.) Charles Gilbertson officiating. Private burial will be held at Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Norma was born on May 29. 1938 in Oak Hill, WV to the late Lawrence and Zola (Wriston) Ellison. She passed away at the Selma Markowitz Care Center on December 25, 2017.Norma was a devoted homemaker to her family. She worked as a cashier at Kroger in Heath for many years. She was a member of Maranatha Bible Church in Glenford, she enjoyed watching Fox news, crossword puzzles, was a microwave chef and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her loving daughter, Arlene Severt; honorary daughter, Brenda Saffield; sister, Patricia (Jesse) Sammons; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Severt; son, Dave Severt; daughters, Suellen Cadle and Deborah Cadle; sister, Rose Crapsey; and brother, Jerry Ellison.
