Pastor Rocky Brown stepped into Glory to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 6, 2018. Rocky was born May 9, 1956 in Columbus. He has had the honor of Pastoring the Full Armor of God Baptist Church in Reynoldsburg, for over 18 years. Rocky was preceded in death by his fathers Tom Kennedy and Kissell Brown, father-in-law Pat Kneisley, mother-in-law Shirley Kneisley and Edith Atwood, brothers Larry Kennedy and Tommy Lane Kennedy, brother-in-law and best friend Jim Lucas, sister-in-law Judy Brown. Rocky is survived by his mother, Pauline Kennedy; his loving wife of 31 years, Kim Brown; daughter, Mandy (Brian) Lewis; son, Mike (Crystal) Gutridge; 5 grandchildren, A.J., Lainee, Lilee and Leslee Pratt, Willa Jean Gutridge; along with many other children he loved as his own. Siblings, David Brown, Bobby (Joan) Kennedy, Tom Kennedy, Linda Isom, Debbie Lucas, Shelly (Doug) Denig, father-in-law Don Atwood, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, church family, friends, and his beloved pet Noel, also survive. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Full Armor of God Baptist Church, 14454 East Broad St. in Reynoldsburg, where funeral services celebrating his life and ministry will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, with Pastor Mark Payton as celebrant.
