Patricia A. Runyon

A memorial gathering, to celebrate the life of Patricia A. Runyon, age 65, of Newark, will be held at Michelle and Dans home, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 29, 1950 to the late Norman and Betty (Gill) Petty. She passed away at Kindred Transitional Care Center in Newark on December 28, 2015.Patricia proudly served her country in the United States Army. She was a devoted homemaker, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed birdwatching, playing cards, crafting, feeding her hummingbirds and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.Survivors include her four daughters, Traci (William) Kuhaneck, Michelle (Dan) Shanks, Patricia (Eric) Reed and Paula Hagerman; sisters, Norma Brown and Edie Lutz; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Runyon.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Patricia and her family.
