Patricia Ann Berry

A Graveside Funeral Service for Patricia Ann Berry will be held at 11am, on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Wilson Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to meet at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark and go in procession to the cemetery. Mrs. Berry, 88, of Granville, passed away on February 15, 2022. Pat was born March 6, 1933, in Newark, a daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Olie) Orris. Her husband, Don Berry, passed on July 15, 2017. Over the years, she enjoyed playing card and board games, like Scrabble, Rummikub and Euchre. The two of them kept a friendly competition going, keeping score to see who won the most. In the over 10,000 games they played, the two of them were only separated by a few games. Her passions included gardening, card club and most of all, her family. Cooking birthday meals to serve her family brought her the most joy, where the birthday person was required to make a dinner request, and she would gladly grant it. Cabbage rolls and chicken with noodles were just a couple of favorites. Spending time with her beloved grandchildren and family Euchre parties, were some of her other of her favorite activities. Surviving are her children, David Berry and his children, Brienna, Autumn, Shaina, Travis (deceased); Danny (Angie) Berry and their children, Danny Jr., Dusty, Nikki; Don Berry (deceased) and his children, Daniel, Bryan, Emily; son Dean Berry (deceased); Dana (Cynthia) Berry and their children, Alex, Shaun, Rankin; several great-grandchildren; former daughters-in-law, Darlene Berry and Janet Dillon; her sister Barbara (Jerry) Smith; her brother, Dale (Darlene) Orris; several nieces and nephews; many Granville friends and her wonderful neighbors.
