Patricia Lee Devault

June 16, 1939 — April 12, 2019

  A memorial service celebrating the life of Patricia Lee DeVault, 79, of Johnstown, will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Reverend Carol Boyd officiating.  Family and friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service on Friday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Patricia was born in Gahanna, Ohio on June 16, 1939 to the late Frederick L. and Neomi (Kitzmiller) Dinsmore.  She passed away on April 12, 2019 at Sharon Brooke Assisted Living in Newark, while surrounded by her loving family. Prior to retirement, Patricia worked at GE for many years.  She enjoyed flower gardening, yard work, her dogs and horses.  Most important in her life was the time she spent with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her children, Dale James Valley, Laurie Ann (John) Boley and Kim (Paul) Cortright; sister, Deborah Somdahl; grandchildren, Joshua (Paige) Boley, Savannah (Josh) Malone and Rachael Cortright; great grandson, Jonathan Steven Boley; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Marie Valley; great grandson, Grayson Boley; and two sisters, Joyce Dickerson and Nancy Stewart. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Patricia to the Licking County Human Society or to the Carol Strawn Center.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Patricia and her family. Your life was a blessing and a treasure.  You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
