Patricia Louise Prouty

A funeral service celebrating the life of Patricia Louise Prouty, age 77, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Fullen officiating. Burial will take place in Irville Cemetery near Nashport. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark. Patricia was born July 9, 1940 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late William and Ella (Glazer) Brown. She passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at her home. Patricia was employed with Dollar General in Newark and Heath for 20 years. She enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets. Patricia was a very hard worker and enjoyed cooking and decorating, especially at the holidays. She loved her parakeet named Baby. She is survived by two sons, Eric R. Marshall (Danyell West) and Darrin E. Marshall; grandchildren, Anthony Marshall, Kayla Marshall, Ashley West and Frank Marshall; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Austin; sisters, Mary Thompson and Doris Ellen Brown; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Patricia and her family.
