Patricia Mitton

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Patricia Mitton, 74, of Thornville, will be held on Thursday October 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery. Patricia died on Sunday, October 12, 2014 following an extended illness. She was born October 30, 1939 in Junction City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Myrtle (Spohn) OBrien. A lifelong homemaker, she enjoyed paintings by Thomas Kincaid and Log Cabins. She is survived by her children Melody (Roger) Householder, Sue Payne, and Edd (Fran) Mitton, Jim (Judy) Mitton; grandchildren Amanda and Josh Nihiser, Michael Rowland, Mandy (Andy) Kerperien, McKenzie Mitton, Mike and Kelly Rhode; 12 great-grandchildren, and aunt Florence (Allen) Householder; along with her beloved canine companion Buddy She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James W Mitton, Sr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.
