Patrick David Alkire

Patrick David Alkire, 67 of Thornville passed away September 8, 2020 in Newark, Ohio. He was born September 13, 1952 in Columbus, the son of the late Dewey and Jessie Josephine (Hart) Alkire. He is survived by his sister Sally (Ray) Keiser, his children Kathy Jo Shaffer (Alkire), Patrick Alkire Jr., Jerry Alkire, Roberta and Skeeter Wells, Rebecca Sickles, Jamie and Milton Clegg, Dewey and Amanda Alkire. Many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: his parents Dewey and Jessie Alkire, wife Barbara Alkire, Siblings Carol Everitt, Joyce Campbell, Michael Alkire, Sandy Bush, son-in-law Scott Sickles, Granddaughter Tessa Clagg. He worked hard, lived hard loved even harder. Known by so many, would help anyone he could and liked by so many. In loving member to a great man. You will be missed dearly.
