Patrick Leroy "Pat" Rowland

A Celebration of Life Service for Patrick LeRoy “Pat” Rowland, 51, of Newark, will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, two hours prior to the funeral service on Saturday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Pat was born in Newark, Ohio on January 13, 1973 to David L. (Donna) Rowland and Rebecca A. (Johnson) Rowland. He passed away at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus on June 23, 2024. Pat was a solutions engineer with American Electric Power for nearly 10 years. He enjoyed traveling, especially with his wife, Stephanie, cooking, making apple cider, crafting with wood and metal, camping and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, survivors include his loving wife, Stephanie L. (Dunlap) Rowland, whom he married May 14, 2016; children, Kayla Snyder, Ashli (Tim Streets) Smith, Tessa Rowland, Nathan Rowland, Derrick Volbrecht and Kylee Smith; brothers, Christopher (Amy) Rowland and Josh (Tammy) Rowland; granddaughter, Lilly Rowland, along with four other granddaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Pat to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
