Patsy G. Stein

A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Patsy G. Stein, age 87, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Hawkins officiating. Burial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Fairfield Cemetery in W. Lafayette, Ohio.Patsy was born in Coshocton, Ohio on October 13, 1928 to the late Manuel and Nora (Shaw) Guilliams. She passed away at her residence, while surrounded by her loving family on January 2, 2016.Patsy was a member of the Licking Valley Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and was an avid sports fan especially following the Cincinnati Reds. She was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Monte Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Robin Stein; grandchildren, Derek Stein, Cassi Stein, Jonah Smith and Tate Smith; sister, Donna Olinger; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. Stein, who passed away May 27, 2013, and whom she married April 28, 1951; and one sister, Barbara Holder.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Patsy to Foundation For Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430.Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Wednesday, two hours prior to the funeral service, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Patsy and her family.
