Patty M. Welsh

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Patty M. Welsh, 64, of Heath, will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Celebrant Mark Dettmer officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.Patty was born in Newark, Ohio on August 21, 1950 to the late Loren and Margaret (Mitchell) Dodrill. She passed away at her residence on May 10, 2015 while surrounded by her family.Patty was the owner/operator of Inn Town Restaurant in Thornville for over 38 years. She was a member of the Millersport VFW and the Thornport AmVets. She enjoyed cooking, and devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Survivors include her two children, Kim (Chris) Linn and Mark (Shelly) Welsh; nine grandchildren, Travis, Meagan, Arron, Carrie, Jessica, Dustin, Cody, Katie and Kayle; one sister, Ann (Kenny) Howard; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Dodrill.Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville St., Newark, on Wednesday, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Welsh family.
