A funeral service, celebrating the life of Patty Jean McCullough Oyler of Alexandria, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Kae Merold as celebrant. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Alexandria. Patty died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, May 24, 2017, at her home. She was born September 22, 1930, the daughter of William and Florene (Clum) McCullough. She was a graduate of Pataskala High School, class of 1948. Patty met her future husband, Donald Oyler while attending 4-H Club Congress at The Ohio State University. She was well known as the Northridge High School secretary for many years, but retired from Nationwide Insurance. She was an active member of the community, serving as advisor to the United Methodist Youth Fellowship, Licking County Homemakers, Licking County Farm Bureau, Alexandria Buckeyes, Card Club and the Outville Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her loving daughters Bari Oyler Stith (Richard), Krissy Oyler, her two beloved grandchildren Amanda (Doug) Pavlowsky and Jason Stith, sister Jo Ann Fox; along with extended family and many special friends. In addition to her parents, husband Donald Oyler, she was preceded in death by her son Jeff. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 11:30 am until time of the funeral services at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.
