Graveside Funeral Services, celebrating the life of Patty L Zollinger, 90, of Millersport, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens, where Patty will be laid to rest next to her husband Ralph. Pastor Doug Lynn will be celebrant.
Patty passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 in Thornville following a brief illness. She was born in Newark, on February 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ada (Lydic) Clark. A graduate of Hebron High School, class of 1948, Patty served as the first Millersport Sweet Corn Festival Queen in 1948.
Patty was a hard working farm wife and also worked for Tussing LP Gas in Hebron for many years.
Patty and Ralph attended the Millersport United Methodist Church for many years.
Her husband Ralph preceded her in death on November 11, 2015 and her son Robert Zollinger preceded her in death on May 1, 2007.
She is survived by her granddaughters Dr. Tawnia Zollinger DVM and Nicole Gilbert; her 4 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, husband and son, she was preceded in death by her sisters Jody Schoop and Norma Lewis.
The family prefers that memorial gifts be directed to the James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University.
