Paul Eugene Baker

Paul Eugene Baker, age 48, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Paul was born December 13, 1974 in Dunn, North Carolina. He grew up in Stanton Michigan where he attended Montcalm High School.

Paul was employed with Long Branch Pizza in Centerburg. He enjoyed video games, movies, and loved being outdoors visiting landmarks and lighthouses. One of his favorite spots was Old Man’s Cave in Hocking Hills State Park.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Susan E. (Lowery) and Tim Ryan of Newark; a son, Brian Baker of Texas; a daughter, Alyssa of Michigan; two grandsons; step-children, Payton Moser and Sierra Moser of Texas; sister; Candace Elaine Baker of Las Vegas, Nevada; nieces, Bryanna Webb and Katherine Hood, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; uncles, Dave (Arlene) Lowery of DeLand, Florida and Dan Lowery Reynoldsburg; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Eugene Baker.

Memorial contributions to remember Paul may be made to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Drive, Heath, OH 43056.

Private interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Fresno, Ohio. The family will have a private service of remembrance at Paul’s grave at a later date.
