Paul Dale Cornell

Paul Dale Cornell, age 82, of Hebron, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Genesis Hospice Care Morrison House in Zanesville. Paul was born January 26, 1943 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Harold Dale and Arline (Daly) Cornell.

Paul later moved to Danville, Ohio. Following his discharge from the United States Navy, he became an employee of the State of Ohio, from which he retired.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria (Brentlinger) Cornell; son, Steven (Maria) Cornell; daughters, Julie Claypool, Jackie (Mike) Gray, and Paula Brown; step-son, Jim Loftus; step-daughter, Vanessa (Gary) Mullins; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Diana (Jim) Arnold.

At his request, there will be no visitation or service observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice Care, c/o Genesis HealthCare Foundation, 1135 Maple Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701 to remember those less fortunate.
