Paul D. Cramer, 77, of Hebron, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born on October 29, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Orville and Mary (Parker) Cramer. As a child, Paul sang in a choir at church in Columbus. When he grew older, he proudly served his country for nearly seven years in the United States Navy. As an adult, he was a skilled electrician having worked for Lucent Technologies for 41 years. In addition, he was an officer with their Union #2020. He enjoyed golfing, basketball and football. He served as an usher for OSU at the infamous horseshoe stadium. Most of all, Paul was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids.He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Phyllis; sons Rob (Rita) Detty, P.D. Cramer, and David Cramer; grandsons Brian (Lisa) Detty, Chad (Jess) Cramer, and Matt Detty; 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters Mary Cramer and Sharon Dickerson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his foster mother, Grace Brown; and 3 sisters.A funeral service, celebrating Pauls life, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the chapel of the Kirkersville Home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E.
