Paul F. Rush

A memorial service for Paul F. Rush, age 78, of Thornville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Pastor Mark Combs officiating.Paul was born August 15, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Frank and Virginia (Wear) Rush.He passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Mount Carmel Medical Center. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Newport News. Paul retired from Lucent Technologies. He enjoyed visiting with his friends from work and was a member of the Lancaster Gun Club. He loved his pets, especially his Westie named Archie. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Debra; son, Philip (Lori); daughter, Paula; grandchildren, Erica, Caleb, Jarrad, Maxwell, and Benjamin.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Donna J. Rush.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the American Cancer Society.The Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Rush family.
