Paul Yost

Paul Russell Yost, age 82, of Thurston, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at his home. Paul was born October 19, 1932 in Perry County, Ohio to the late Russell Edison and Martha Suzanna (Harmon) Yost.Paul retired from Midland Screw in Millersport. He was a member of the CB Radio Club and his handle was Sunshine. Paul enjoyed hunting, bonfires and cookouts.He is survived by his wife, Lavonna M. (Evans) Yost; four children, Ricky (Rose) Yost of Pleasantville, Joyce Burnett and Debbie (Chet) Reid, all of Lancaster and Gary (Deanna) Yost of Thurston; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Betty) Yost of Nelsonville; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Orville Ricketts.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Paul David Yost; two brothers, Alfred Yost and Max Yost; and a sister, Virginia Weyland.Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street, Thornville.Memorial contributions may be made to FairHoPe Hospice.
