Paul Zimmerman

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Paul Burke Zimmerman, Jr., 83, of Pataskala, will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in The Full Armor of God Baptist Church, Reynoldsburg. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery.Paul died peacefully, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at his sons home. He was born August 18, 1929, in Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Gladys (Stover) Zimmerman.He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Full Armor of God Church, and loved collecting old cars, including his favorite the 69 Chevelle Super Sport.Paul is survived by his loving family: his wife, Lerah K. Zimmerman, whom he married on October 15, 1953, his son James (Robin) Zimmerman of Pataskala, his daughter Paula Barnette of Baltimore, along with his grandchildren James (Adrienne) Zimmerman and great-grandson Paul.Friends may call on Friday evening, November 30, 2012, from 4-7 p.m. at the Full Armor of God Baptist Church, 14454 E Broad St. in Reynoldsburg.
