A funeral service celebrating the life of Paula Kay (Meyer) Erwin, age 66, of Granville, formerly of Whitehall, will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Friends may call on Saturday, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Paula passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends in her home in Granville, OH on December 31, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Lexington, KY on July 21, 1951 to the late Robert and Nita Meyer.She was the beloved wife of Tom. Together they shared a very special love for nearly 50 years. Survived by husband, Tom; children, Tommy, Diane (Mike) Erwin-Doh and Terry (Tammy); three grandchildren, Tyler (Mandy), Terra (Shawn) Johnson and Max Doh; great granddaughter Ryleigh; nephews, Johnny (Julie) Greever and Frankie (Holly) Greever; many great nieces and nephews; Aunt Mary Jane Meyer and Aunt Susie Meyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mikie. Paula will be remembered for her strength, determination, work ethic, love for the Whitehall community, and her involvement with the Whitehall Citizens Police Academy. Prior to retirement, she worked for Chase Bank for many years. She enjoyed tending to her flower beds and garden, and most of all the love she gave to all of her friends and family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Paula, to Mount Carmel St. Anns Palliative Care Unit or to the Whitehall Citizens Police Academy.
