A funeral service, celebrating the life of Pauline N. Polly Mauk, 86, formerly of Pataskala, will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kirkersville Home of The Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Chaplain Bob Keim as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery. Polly died late Saturday evening, January 7, 2012, at Wesley Ridge in Reynoldsburg, following an extended illness. She was born August 21, 1925, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Clarence and Esta (Boggs) Robbins. She was a lifelong homemaker and member of the Kirkersville U.M. Church. She enjoyed crafts and ceramics and Frostys at Wendys. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 69 years, James B Mauk, whom she married on August 3, 1942; son James E. Mauk of Pataskala, daughters Polly Ann Prather of McCormick, S.C., Karen Dhuyvetter of Columbus , granddaughters Celesia (Scott) Snyder, Paula (David) Blevins, and Amy (Matthew) Smith; along with her 8 great-grandchildren Jennifer, Kalasha, Joshua, Daphne, Cameron, Eric, Caitlyn and Carson. Family will receive friends on Wednesday morning, January 11, 2012 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home, 285 E Main St in Kirkersville, where an on-line guest register and video tribute is available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com Memorials in her memory may be directed to Hospice and Methodist Elder Care at Wesley Ridge, 2225 Wesley Place, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068 or Kirkersville United Methodist Church, P.O.
