A funeral service, celebrating the life of Pauline Kay Ours, 92, of Hebron, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Greg Robbins as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.Pauline passed away peacefully on Monday morning, February 8, 2016, in Newark, following an extended illness. She was born in Glouster, on October 4, 1923, the daughter of the late William and Goldia (McClellan) Kay. She was a graduate of Roseville High School, class of 1941. Pauline was a member of the Heath Church of Christ, Eagon Chapter #123, Order of Eastern Star, and a former mother advisor for Hebron assembly, Rainbow for Girls.She is survived by her husband, Jesse, daughter Daette (Ed) Petrey of Bloomington, Illinois; grandsons Travis (Elizabeth) McCullough, Lawrence (Katie) and Nehemiah Petrey; great grandchildren Clayton, Gabriella and Lucas McCullough and Makenna Petrey; along with several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Stemm, brothers Lloyd and Glenn Kay.The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Eagon Chapter will hold Eastern Star memorial services at 7:45 p.m.Memorials may be directed to the Gideons International, or Eagon Chapter #123, Order of Eastern Star.
